I have mixed feelings on this but ... has Congress finally gotten the message? They are working together on this misguided stimulus package ... but they are working together and not even George Snuffle could get Charlie Rangel to lose the love.
The issue is: Will Democrats fight for rebates even for people who don't pay income taxes. W&M Chairman Rangel ... oh no you don't GS ... we love each other now.
BTW, if there is a stimulus package it should indeed include everyone and not just taxpayers. This is no damn rebate folks ... its a transfer payment. You are not getting back percentage of your payment. If you are trying to stimulate the economy (which it won't do) send out the damn checks to everyone. period.
